🌿 Wellness Project: Free Activities for Young People and Carers (Redbridge Forum)

We’re pleased to share a fantastic opportunity from our friends at Redbridge Forum, who have launched their new NHS-funded “Wellness Project” to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people and their carers.

images of events and activities fun by redbridge forum in summer 2025 including a picture of scones with cream and jam on a bench, a forrest landscape with a large tree all green with leaves and roots running across the ground with the words 'Of the Oak' and finally a front picture of Kensington palace with white water fountain to the front, long sand coloured driveway to a sepctacular large palic front with green grass and small trees lining the route.

This exciting programme includes a variety of free activities running through May and June 2025. The project is funded by the North East London Collaborative and aims to promote community connection, wellness, and access to health-focused information in an inclusive and engaging way.

📅 Upcoming Activities:

  • Thursday 8th May: Cream Tea for VE Day

  • Wednesday 14th May: Kew Community Group Day

Access to Work: Get support if you have a disability or health condition

ree

Access to Work can help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability. The support you get will depend on your needs but can provide a grant to help pay for things like:

  • specialist equipment and assistive software

  • support workers, like a BSL interpreter, a job coach or a travel buddy

  • costs of travelling to work, if you cannot use public transport

  • adaptations to your vehicle so you can get to work
