At CFDN, stories are at the heart of our work. They help us show the real impact of inclusion, friendship, and community. By sharing your experience, you give hope to others and help us raise vital support. We will always respect your privacy and wishes.

Why We Collect Stories

• To celebrate our members and families

• To raise awareness of disability inclusion and encourage other to join

• To inspire donations and sponsorships that keep our services running

Your story can be as short as one sentence or as long as you like.

Sample Questions

We only ask 5 simple questions and allow you the opportunity to share your thoughts. These include;

• What difference has CFDN made to you or your family?

• What’s your favourite memory of a CFDN event or activity?

• If CFDN didn’t exist, what would you miss the most?

• How did you feel when you first joined the CFDN and how do you feel now?

• What does being part of the CFDN community mean to you?

 

Consent & Privacy Options

You decide how your story is used. The more personal a story, the more relatable and thats why we want to show other families and members what we get up to, how we support and the long term support we need to help our members. You'll be able to choose from the following;

1. Anonymous Story Only – You can share your experience with no name attached and an alternative name will be added.

2. First Name Only – Your first name may appear with your story across our media and promotional material.

3. Story + Photo (limited use) – Your first name and photo may appear in newsletters, media or appeals.

4. Story + Photo/Video (full use) – Your name and image may be used in all CFDN materials (website, social, campaigns, banners).
