The Government's Timms Review is inviting everyday Disabled people to take part in the redesign of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), influencing systems for years to come. This is a rare opportunity to directly shape the benefit that affects so many of our members.

Free Media Training for Disabled People

Only 11% of newspaper stories about Disabled people actually quote a Disabled person. The Campaign for Disability Justice is launching a free programme to support more Disabled people to speak to the press and change that statistic.

A recent government report found that laws around equal pay are failing Disabled people. A consultation is now asking how the system should change, and whether clearer legal duties could help Disabled people spot unfair pay, challenge it safely, and get more equal outcomes at work.

Disabled Bus Passes - Time to Unblock Buses

Disabled people at Difference Northeast are calling for the Prime Minister to expand their Manchester bus campaign to the whole UK, allowing Disabled people the freedom to travel on buses 24/7. In many areas, Disabled passes are only valid at certain times, and many councils are limiting Blue Badge use to 3 hours.
