Volunteers Signup & Information Form

CFDN LOGO_edited.jpg

The CFDN welcomes applications from anyone wanting to apply to become a volunteer. The charity is required to collect contact and compliance information on anyone volunteering in the organisation. We have made it a simple process to ensure it complies with UK legislation. Please complete the below form if you are a new volunteer or wish to update significant information.

All volunteers are required to undertake the following checks;

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check, Identity and Eligibility to Volunteer in the UK, Character Referencing, Code of Conduct and Health & Safety Clearance.

Although this may sound like a lot of information, it is what is required by law but we make it as easy as we can and help you through the process. Dependent on each individual, this may not be an extensive list.

Benefits of Volunteering:

  1. Sense of Fulfillment: Experience the joy of giving back and making a positive impact in your community.

  2. Skill Development: Gain new skills and enhance existing ones through hands-on experiences.

  3. Networking: Build valuable connections with like-minded individuals and professionals.

  4. Boosted Confidence: Achieve a sense of accomplishment and increased self-confidence.

  5. Resume Enhancement: Strengthen your CV with diverse volunteer experiences that showcase your dedication.
