About the event

Supported Living Options for Young Adults with Down Syndrome - Information evening hosted by Dance 21

We have been invited by Dance 21, a dance group for children and young adults with Down syndrome and their siblings, to share this important information evening with our members. This meeting is for parents and carers of young adults with Down syndrome and those with additional or neurological needs. It will focus on supported living options, what provision currently exists locally, and how families can begin planning and engaging with local authorities around future housing needs.

The evening will include an informal talk and discussion, with attendance from Iain Duncan Smith and a representative from the London Borough of Redbridge.

Dan Ruscoe, CEO of the CFDN, will be attending to represent the charity and to listen to families’ experiences and questions.
