Disclosure & Baring Service (DBS) Checks

Anyone working with Vulnerable Adults and/or Children are required to have a Disclosure & Baring Services (DBS) check, formally known as a CRB check. The process is simple and has several stages that looks at an individuals background to identify any convictions or baring notifications held by police forces.

To make the process as easy as possible we have developed a DBS Flow Chart and guidance below Please open the 'DBS Process' document and follow the flow chart which will tell you exactly what you need to do. If you need to complete a new DBS, please complete the below form. If you have any difficulty obtaining your DBS or need some further support, please contact Dan on dan@cfdn.org.uk

STEP 1: Read the DBS Process
